Al’Fado is a fresh Israeli-Portuguese ensemble that performs Ladino music. Ladino music originates from the Iberian Peninsula, and combines medieval Hebrew with an ancient mix of Spanish and Portuguese dialects. Al’Fado features singer Gal Tamir, Avishay Back on bass guitar, João Roque on guitars, and Diogo Melo de Carvalho on percussion.
