INSPIRED by Maud Nathan, a Sephardic Jewish, female voice for justice and equality, this program recognizes women whose struggles for social justice, equality and freedom have made a positive impact on our lives, and launches an initiative aimed at working together on issues that relate to our diverse communities.

Did you know that African Americans and Jews are among the most targeted groups for hate crimes in the U.S.? Also, gender may have been the motivation for over half of the hate crimes reported by women in recent years.

SPEAKERS whom we honor as FEMALE VOICES OF FREEDOM – FOUR WISE DAUGHTERS 2021 – will apply 3 questions, customarily asked at the Levantine Passover Seder, to progress for women and our diverse communities: (a) Where are you coming from? (b) Where are you going? (c) What are the provisions that you need to get there?
