PFIZER CEO DR. ALBERT BOURLA, special guest, will tell his Sephardic family’s story of survival, as never before.

Keynote Speaker Dr. Devin Naar is the Isaac Alhadeff Professor in Sephardic Studies at the University of Washington.

IN LOVING MEMORY OF: MOIS & SARA BOURLA; Holocaust refugees to Morocco, CLAIRE BARKEY FLASH (Rhodes/USA) and ISAAC ELGRABLY (France/USA); SARAH & EUGENE ZINN, LAZAR & HENRIETTE HAIM, ALLEGRA HAIM; ESTREYA, MATHILDA, SOLOMON & MOSHE HANAN; ALTCHECK FAMILIES (Rhodes); The Greek survivor parents of both Jack and Daisy Samarias; ISAAC SENOR & SAUL SENOR (Greece); In memory of my mom ALICE, a”h, who was strong, smart, clever and lucky to survive the worst Nazi labor camp and came back to Greece to marry my dad and in such, took her revenge by having my brother Chasdai and me; In memory of our parents, EMILY & EMMANUEL VELELLI, a”h, who survived the Holocaust in Greece in hiding and through the life-saving help given to them by others. They were brave and resilient, eventually coming to America to begin a new life. They grew their family of 4 children, 10 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren, of whom they were so proud. They never forgot their beautiful Greek-Jewish heritage, and remained grateful to those who helped them renew their lives. Their devotion to family has been an example to all of us – Rachel V. and Rick Glaser and Family.
